- mark_l_watson 7y ago+1 “” what's valuable is how to derive any value from it”” That is the money comment. What value per unit of time, with bad health affects from triggering tension, for news gorging.
- PaulKeeble 7y agoI guess my argument is the value derived from the news is to fit in with everyone else. It gives you a common grounding of the worlds going on, it isn't going to enable you to solve science or technology problems but it will help enable relationships. Without it, you lose an important connection to those around you.
- malvosenior 7y agoYou could say the same thing about sports or Kim Kardashian, or you could just not care and focus on things that actually interest you. That seems like an even more mature choice (hence functional adult).
