I would love to see Apple take a shot at this. It probably doesn’t make sense for them to invest the R&D in a rapidly shrinking market, though. Samsung tried building Android-based cameras a few years back, struggled to gain any sort of market share, and got out of the interchangeable lens camera market altogether. It’s a shame too because the cameras got really good reviews.
