You're assuming the AI in question has access to such information. A state actor might, but not random company XYZ. It's certainly possible, but I doubt this company is equipped to do so; there's not an easy way to show the school what additional value this provides. Unless they could find a way to "sell it", such a capability would cost the company significantly more likely for no additional revenue.
