So Im sitting here hacking away in Emacs. How does this help me?
- scarejunba 7y agoYou're using emacs. Nothing can help you.
- labster 7y agoTry Ctrl-X Ctrl-C, then type vim, that usually helps.
- OrderlyTiamat 7y agoNow I've opened vim! I don't see how this advice is anything but a disaster. How do I get back to emacs again?
- gknoy 7y agoI was going to make a joking comment about how vim will trap you if you use C-c C-c, or C-x C-s, but apparently that's no longer true! My mac's vim (8.0) apparently kindly gives a message: Type :qa! and press <Enter> to abandon all changes and exit Vim
- westoncb 7y agoYou should feel relief that you are only hacking in emacs and not paying to be tortured by a psychic.
- OrderlyTiamat 7y agoM-x doctor could help in this instance, no doubt.
- red75prime 7y agoAnd not deciding to pay to be tortured by a psycho after detailed explanation how you'll be tortured by a psycho, that is.
- mikorym 7y agoYeah I also think the article is a waste of time. Who wrote the petition? Apparently it's not a haunted house anyway but a "mobile experience". After reading the article I don't think I've really learnt any facts apart from something that some people do that other people have a petition against that starts in Tennessee and ends in Alabama, but no-one has got to Alabama?
