Be that as it may, the whole thing looks to me like a tyrant prince using his power for personal affairs. I don't see a clear path from that to "satisfying this guy's thirst for blood is in the national of America and Israel."
In life, Khashoggi may have been a critic of Saudi Arabia, but I don't think he was an existential threat to Saudi Arabia's ability to be an effective ally to America or Israel.
- awaythrowitnow 7y agoUhh .. Saudi Arabia has been ruled by some tyrant prince or sultan since err, what, 700CE now? Israel and USA sell weapons to Bin Salman to commit genocide against Yemen. Any negative press against their business and military ally KSA has the potential to hurt sales, and Israel desperately needs to profit off of genocide in order .. to keep committing genocide in Occupied Palestine. It is also in the best interest of Israel because Israel, KSA, and USA who all want to commit genocide in Iran to ensure they cannot sell oil. AIPAC has already done an incredible job of ensuring no major news outlet and almost no politician except AOC and Rashid Tlaib has the cajones to ever speak out against Israel's genocide in Occupied Palestine. Sometimes AIPAC has journalists killed, this is not the first time. Cash Rules Everything Around Me.
