Well, to me, the issue of IPv6 adoption is that it is not a natural extension to IPv4, but two different protocols. It requires two settings efforts and additional efforts for interoperability with third parties still limited to IPv4.
I am sure there must be some tools to smooth the efforts, but it is not native in the protocols.
