I thought this was going to compare C and JavaScript as being imperfect languages that are ubiquitous as the Lingua Franca of their respective platforms, Unix and the web. I’d be interested in seeing that explored.
- chriskrycho 7y agoOooh, that does sound like an interesting post. I also have some unpublished notes on the value of taking the “make JS/C better via tools etc.” path even when the other is available and why. It’ll likely generate less interest than this one—less provocative by a lot!—but it’s actually what I’m doing in my day job right now!
