I wouldn’t have brought up the President here because he’s simply not relevant, but I would love to understand better the privilege of folks who can get away with “not caring” about the commander in chief.

Not being obsessed != not caring. People who are obsessed do bring it whenever it is relevant or not.

"Not turning everything into a Trump issue" is not the same thing as "the privilege of folks who can get away with 'not caring' about the commander in chief". Is me setting my alarm for 630am "a Trump issue"? If I think it is not, am I "privileged" and "don't care about the commander in chief"? If it is, why am I "so obsessed with Trump and//or the commander in chief? Yes, my example is ridiculous -- and you see my point. Not everything is "Trump" or "who the president is", being able to tell the difference doesn't necessarily make someone privileged or not.

"Everyone who isn't suffering from my delusion has the privilege of not having the same opinions as me." It is a privilege and an honor to not think that everyone has to care about the same things I do or else they're guilty of some form of original sin. That would be a screwed up form of narcissistic mania. How are you doing?

    Read my comment again and ask yourself why telling me fake statistics about Trump has anything to do with the original article. You're unwell, and it's a mixture of narcissistic mania and obsession. It does nothing for your cause but make it look like the cause of crazy people.
