If it took wonders to make Haskell concepts mainstream in languages with a GC, I can only describe what Rust achieves as true miracles.
- pjmlp 7y agoIndeed, however having a GC doesn't preclude having linear types as well, thus having the cake and eating it too. In any case, Rust has already managed other language designers to take a look into adopting such type systems ideas, in itself that is a big victory from Rust community.
