I’m reminded of the fully-functional HTTP web server (!!) implemented in pure PostgreSQL for the PlaidCTF competition this year: https://cr0wn.uk/2019/plaid-triggered/ https://cr0wn.uk/2019/plaid-triggered/
It does everything in SQL - header parsing, HTTP routing, and even includes a micro templating engine for generating pages.
