I can't trust any of the paywalls frankly. They are in open war with tech because they believe they are stealing their monies [1] and with free speech because reasons[2]. My twitter is my best source of news, and a lot of the "paywalled content" is really commentary on tweets anyway. I'd much rather support independent investigators than agenda-driven bullies. I also notice that a lot of tech people are finally fed up with the constant drum beating.
