I use it as my daily driver and I've also started writing some smallish scripts in it. It's actually fun whereas bash always seemed rather tedious. I love how easy it is to parse arguments with `argparse` and to add completions through `complete`. Also fish utils like `string join` etc. are super helpful when writing small scripts.
