Thank you! The comparison of kids being easier than dogs is so misleading I don't even know where to begin.
- ksdale 7y agoI didn’t say they were easier, I said that I thought the disruption to a person’s life was a lot more comparable than people think. If you’re footloose and fancy-free without a kid or a dog, both a kid and a dog will require serious lifestyle changes and will take up a ton of your attention. My contention is that people overestimate the responsibility required for kids and underestimate the responsibility required for dogs, or any pets for that matter.
