If we're getting into politics, I can't leave this uncontested. I think this is very disingenuous to say it didn't start with Reagan's "starve the beast".

- mc32 7y agoHe brought deregulation and busted some unions. He didn’t sell off the workforce wholesale to ship the jobs overseas and tell them to be happy because they’ll get cheap disposable stuff we can fill landfills with instead. Busting unions looks bad. Shipping jobs overseas is magnitudes worse but it’s indirect and underhanded so you don’t get the blame. Actually, even better, you get to blame people for not “skilling up”!
