I hope the inclusion of these new features don't break Gitlab in air gaped environments (or those cases where the DNS is black holed so it doesn't work... though that may be a violation of the terms).
- panpanna 7y agoGiven many major websites break if you enable tracker-blocking I would guess it will. frontend devs urgently need to learn to write more robust code.
- lbotos 7y agoI work at GitLab in Support Engineering I'm talking with product now about this. We raised this when the conversation started as a concern, and I want you to know that internally I am advocating that it _doesn't_.
- marcinzm 7y agoWait, it's even a question? There are people internally asking for having air-gapped be impossible? I mean, is Gitlab just that tone deaf regarding enterprise or do you just have no enterprise customers to care about?
