Is a man who chooses not to walk into a pointed knife a coward?
- clSTophEjUdRanu 7y agoReality winner is only serving 5 years and she showed good faith. Ellsberg won in court and served 0 years. If Snowden weren't a coward he could be there in person right now.
- smbowner 7y ago"With that being said, leakers are traitors and cowards, and we will find out who they are!" - POTUS Obviously this doesn't apply directly to Snowden. I would be worried about a fair trial in this type of political climate as well. I mean, it's not the US has ever inappropriately applied the judiciary to falsely imprison a man before!
- 2OEH8eoCRo0 7y agoThe act of fleeing made it harder for himself. Had he not fled overseas and really did attempt to follow proper whisleblower procedure he would most likely be a free man today.

- slenk 7y agoNo...the US wants him dead. There is no chance in hell he gets a fair trial. The instant he would step into the US he would be arrested and sentenced for life. Very naive to think the government will let this one go
- pseudalopex 7y agoEllsberg said Snowden was right to flee.[1] [1] https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/daniel-ellsberg-nsa-leaker-snowden-made-the-right-call/2013/07/07/0b46d96c-e5b7-11e2-aef3-339619eab080_story.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/daniel-ellsberg-nsa-...
