A mom-of-three friend of mine loves her electric Xtracycle. She mostly leaves the minivan at home, and neatly bypasses the morning school-and-office traffic. It zips along at 20mph surprisingly quickly, too. While not everyone can be that active, a steadily increasing number of people are using these micro-mobility devices. It really does improve the suburban and urban environment over cars. It's not like handicapped-accessibility considerations are going away when we start to cater to these smaller vehicles!
