It sometimes fascinates me (and scares the shit out of me) to wonder at all of the little errors/assumptions like this that are baked into the millions of spreadsheets that form the foundation of so much of what we build and do in the world.
- abtinf 7y agoThe world is held together with nothing but human thought. Man must be free so that his mind is free to think. A doctor working under compulsion should terrify those under his scalpel. Likewise for the engineer, and his customer, who designs a bridge, an elevator, or even a simple toaster.
