So lets say I go on IB, make a kickass ROI after 12 months, and decide I want to be gainfully employed in that industry. Do I just put it on my resume? Do I write a blog talking about my success? Or, at the end of the day, will I need people to still vouch for me? For the DIY MBA, I completely agree. No easy way to signal that you have the requisite skills yourself.
