I never really understood it. It's a nice looking, albeit expensive, thermostat with some simple optimization algorithms. Now it's a spying tool.
Meanwhile, my HVAC runs on a dumb Honeywell unit that I can program a schedule on. Haven't even replaced the batteries in years.
