- edunteman 7y agoIt's a direction I've considered (bundling and distributing licenses in a compliant way), but for the next year I'd rather build out the tech and UX, with a simple "Bring Your Own License" approach.
- edunteman 7y agoGreat question! Workspaces is my most direct competitor, and the current product is exactly that - a cloud based desktop. Booste is aiming to be more layman-friendly, whereas workspaces is more IT-admin focused, from my experience. The vision of the next build is to launch and display apps as if they were local. IE: you click the app icon and a window opens up, without you even needing to context switch into a remote system.
- GordonS 7y agoMicrosoft very recently GA'd their Windows Virtual Desktop offering too: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/services/virtual-desktop/ https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/services/virtual-desktop/ I imagine it will be tough to compete with AWS and Microsoft - I wonder if there is a niche you can specialise in?
