Open source projects always ship test code (when they have some).
- brown9-2 16y agoThis isn't quite the same thing as installing open-source code onto a cellular phone.
- RickHull 16y agoSo the OO.o binaries -- http://download.openoffice.org/other.html#tested-full http://download.openoffice.org/other.html#tested-full -- include unit tests?
- patrickaljord 16y agoTests are shipped with code, not binaries. Why would one ship tests with binaries?
- spoondan 16y agoThat's his point: the vast majority of Android distributions are likely to be binaries installed on devices, not source distributions including the allegedly infringing code. This changes the discussion at least with respect to Oracle's remedies should Google be found guilty.
