- bdcravens 7y agoYou're stating an assumption as if it's a fact, and this requires everything we've been told about security enclave/Titan M/Trust Zone/etc to be a lie. If you're going to believe that, there's no reason to believe that HN isn't uploading all user activity to the NSA for sentiment analysis and tracking.
- fetbaffe 7y agoHN is public forum, a phone is not, but yes they could share my IP, browser etc, if they do store it somewhere it will be leaked anyway. Always assume that. We do actually know that a lot of Android phones leak user data, especially ones owned by Chinese companies. And yes, tech companies lie all the time. (also governments)
