These actual changes can be of great benefit even if there is not necessarily an official therapy employed. The whole recreational, non-study-able drug use phenomenon, the societal wave of recognition of the value of these experiences, it's all due to the fact that these have a real positive impact on the neurochemistry of the majority of people.
