Maybe someone else was unaware of the other's desired gender. Maybe they don't accept the idea that people get to choose their own gender. The expression of different cultural norms is not necessarily harassment.
- dwb 7y agoPeople don't get to choose their own gender, they get to choose their own gender expression. Freedom of expression (to some greater extent) is quite popular in most societies. No-one's complaining about good-faith mistakes, but if we could arrange for those mistakes to be very difficult to make then so much the better.

That you’ve drawn an arbitrary line doesn’t privilege your line.
