- hanselot 7y agoToo bad we have only demagoguery and not democracy. Arguably the American electoral college is the only thing near a true democracy for the people that exists. The funny thing is that nobody seems to see how obvious the political bull is. Want to polarise a nation? Put a female candidate in the opposition, so every person that thinks that female will do a bad job is immediately brandished a sexist. Next in line will be a gay candidate (obviously), I think they will save the black gay candidate for after the gay one. Then will be the trans black native-american candidate, etc etc until they run out of labels.
