In most cases where the "wait them out" strategy is abandoned, it's because their are children involved and there is legitimate reason to be concerned for their safety.
- TheCoelacanth 7y agoSurely having a firefight going on in close proximity to them is not great for childrens' safety. Their parents would have to be much crazier than normal for that to be in their best interests.
