In a nutshell, the topic is about "why does the Youtube algorithm appear to have no other axis than the topic/subject matter?" I hear "some ratings or flags would be appropriate" While I often scoffed at the cinema ratings systems, they do serve a role: in that you don't likely take your 5 year old to an X-rated film. Since we are on the topic, you will note that sexually explicit content seems easy enough to keep off youtube, and yet they cannot understand that violence is worse than watching some people reproduce? hmmm I smell a double standard here... "no nipples, but you can show all the head-cutting and slashing you want"
