Reminds me of Prince not allowing the videos of his music and concerts (the prized bootlegs) not to be on YouTube depriving newer fans from appreciating his musical genius. Yes it is the right of an artist to decide how his work will be presented but why such silly restrictions , why bother making stuff for public consumption at all if people can't get enjoyment from it ???. Fortunately his estate is far more liberal in allowing his material to be enjoyed.
