Top Microsoft exec says online privacy has reached 'a crisis point'
- justinclift 7y agoIronic. It's an article about Microsoft and "online privacy" without any mention of telemetry that can't be disabled.
- not_a_cop75 7y agoIt's typical corporate behavior. Facebook is the same way. Talk about how concerned they are about privacy while selling as much of your information as humanly possible. Or talk about how valuable human rights are, but censor everybody for the benefit of the Chinese government. The hypocrisy s completely deliberate. Listening to a corporation is the worst possible way to get real information about them.
- monkeydreams 7y agoAn article posted recently talked about how to reduce anger about your actions by talking about them in the abstract. Talk about the concept, the noun, rather than what you are doing (the verb) and people will feel less anger toward you.
- justinclift 7y agoDoesn't seem to work. ;)
