I am supportive of delivering software through OS packages, and from the experience of working with computers for the past 35+ years, I'm absolutely convinced that the only way to correctly deliver software is through native operating system packages, on any platform.
- AnIdiotOnTheNet 7y agoI would agree with this statement only under the condition that said "native OS package" is a single file or folder that can simply be copied and placed anywhere the user wants it. Otherwise, whatever the OS wants is very low on my list of things I give a damn about. The computer should serve the user, not the other way around.
