We invested in an incredible company called Brightseed that looks at each of the tens of millions of small molecules in our food supply and uses AI to predict how those interact with metabolic networks associated with health. Because everything they discover is implicitly regarded as safe (GRAS) there’s the potential to develop products much more rapidly and cheaply. While we may not find something that optimizes on efficacy there’s the potential to get very close.
