All of these efforts will eventually result in an amazing world where there are a lot fewer or zero crashes. Perhaps even change how cities or homes are built/organized. No doubt. But the really troubling thing is the attitude and approach: this is not an "experimental software rollout" that somehow Tesla seems to advocate. You cannot use live human beings in real streets with very little safety net to "roll out" your self driving torpedoes. That just doesn't make sense and seems very irresponsible. I would rather not have silicon valley mentality when it comes to cars or healthcare or even banking. Real people's lives are at stake.
