- pennaMan 7y agoI maintain and use my own private android app that only plays the audio stream from youtube via youtubedl. I openly refer to that as pirating. Does NewPipe circumvent the YT ToS in any way? Then it's pirating. Please don't bend reality to align with your morals. Bend your morals instead :)
- whamlastxmas 7y agoIf the TOS said you were only allowed to view while wearing a top hat, it wouldn't suddenly be piracy if you watched it hatless. A TOS doesn't define the general usage of the term piracy.
- catalogia 7y agoIf people trust some random internet Finn who provides no evidence more than they trust Google, who does Google have to blame for that but themselves? It's their own fault they've trashed their own reputation this severely.
