Unfortunately this will not work. Google must stay until lawmakers figure out all the walkarounds company can use and close all the loopholes. One by one, law by law. Or there is going to be another google company stepping the same steps. But this is just the beginning. Cloud is next, raising prices, preventing people from leaving by crating apis you cant simply rewrite... Mainframe history all over again. (disclaimer: googless for a decade, once I prediceted where this is going I became completely self hosted, learned to build my own roms without gms etc. Today is much easyer with microg, newpipe, aurora, apktool, ... On the other side, people are less and less knowlidgable as a result of helpers from companies and dependant to them. I am eager to see how this will end)
