- chongli 7y agoPrince Bonesaw had a journalist murdered. Most of the outrage was from fellow journalists. Otherwise there are very few people in the west who know/relate to people from Saudi Arabia. If Xi ordered a massacre in Hong Kong, it would alienate tons of people in the west who have relatives there. It would alienate countless others who see Hong Kong as a westernized place. It might even reignite a McCarthy-esque red scare.
