This is macOS specific & apparently actively being investigated, not present here on Linux.
- taurath 7y agoSadly it’s been 5 years. I’ve reported it many times with lots of logs.
- AsyncAwait 7y agoThere have apparently been considerable improvements in this area in the latest Nightly/Developer editions, not in stable yet.
- taurath 7y agoI have tried once a year. This is always the promise. It’s still not been fixed. I get downvoted every time by people who don’t want to hear negativity about Firefox - I keep trying because I want it to be usable for me.
- matheusmoreira 7y agoI'm a Linux user. While browsing with Chrome my CPU temperature hovers around 45 degrees. If I start using Firefox it increases to 55 degrees.
