I wonder why it’s so easy for us as people to make problems for ourselves. Surely we could just eat hashbrowns and coffee at McDonalds for $2 and no effort.

- bonniemuffin 7y agoMy grandma and her friends did this for many years. Every Saturday morning they'd all meet up at McDonalds and nurse a cup of coffee for three or four hours. I think they really had it all figured out: it's about the people, not the accommodations. She's been departed for quite a few years now, but I wouldn't be surprised if her remaining friends are still doing it.
