I've got an HP Spectre laptop, and Moto X4. Both have USB-C. Both came with their own power supplies. I'm scared to try the HP brick cable to see if it'll charge, or blow up my phone. I doubt the Moto charger would even register on the laptop but maybe it'd trickle charge it? I have no idea or confidence in how mixing these things would work. But otherwise I prefer USB-C to all previous alternatives so far.
