Qt 5.14 is now in beta and has a toggle switch to do per-display scaling based off DPI on all platforms. I've had a 4k 27" monitor mixed with 1080p and 1440p monitors of varying sizes for years and have managed to get 90% of software working great, and whenever I dip into Wayland get to use the fractional scaling there it goes up to 99% of software.
