Great walkthrough, but the missing step is to add an alias into your bash_profile (or equivalent at the end:
alias upload='ssh username@server'
Then when you need to upload something, just type:
upload 'something'

- hiccuphippo 7y agoThe ssh config works with autocompletion (for ssh, scp and rsync) so you don't really need the alias.
