While that's true, the autonomous car can also react so much faster than you can. It may be able to largely trade-off your level of contextual awareness for pure reaction speed in most cases.
- rightbyte 7y agoAre you sure? Image recognition or radar does not make self driving cars necessarely faster than a cognitive model and eye input just becouse computers are way faster at math and IO. You need a certain hysteresis/threshold to filter out false positives.
