Evolution is present in all things, it is inevitable. All things evolve because all things are impermanent. The question is, is evolution of technology now only driven by profit and military defense? Or can evolution be driven by the desire for a better future that is more full of Love and less full of violence and fear. People are defining evolution too narrowly, look to see it happening all around you, socially, technically, geologically, comologically. Consciousness itself is evolving and that is why we are seeing the limits of Spiral Dynamics stage orange capitalism. What will our economic system evolve into when society evolves from orange to green? How will this affect our technological evolution? (this will be quite painful but necessary for our survival)
