- SavageBeast 7y agoI personally like to stop/start any application server or web sever running on my hardware over the weekend with cron. I say "Preemptively Bounce" on the assumption that which is not periodically rebooted will at some point crash. Id rather take a few minutes outage at a time of my choosing. It's basically just cheap insurance for the paranoid.
