  Seeing how we live in capitalism - money it is. Remember when Google, promised it wouldn't kowtow to China? Then kowtowed anyway.

    Except they didn't. Project Dragonfly was cancelled after Google employees rebelled against it. A better example would be how Apple quietly shared iCloud user data with the Chinese government.
