I am also disappointed by NYT reporting, and the problem is quite simple - they picked a side in a trump battle. They are far from neutral point of view, their choice of events to report and their reliance on polar opinion columns leaves them with no credibility. I really enjoy https://www.reddit.com/r/NeutralPolitics/ https://www.reddit.com/r/NeutralPolitics/ where they dont scald you with a stream of news daily, have strict moderatorial policy and take their time to lay out the factors, documents and opinions on a lot of topics. Unfortunately, I dont see how this can be commercialized and expanded. Still a great source to form your opinion.
