Newbie's Guide to Network/Internet Security?
I know a little computer science and some high level programming languages. Can anyone point me to some good books, articles, or websites to get started?

Also, http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ is a place that developed Combofix - which is a very effective spyware/rootkit removal utility. Start there so that you know how to use what is out there and what kind of trends to expect. Build up from there.
