I am at peace with this. One thing that helped me, was when I saw the ammount of taxes I pay :) I am fairly capitalist, but I do hope one day we would achieve this weir socialist utopia where nobody would need to be working. I definitely would see a problem with 'work should be compensated accordingly to the toll it takes on the body' because in the long run, don't we want to automate these kinds of jobs away? Apologies for my disjointed thoughts, I wish you luck in your search for meaning :)
