WSL2 might be better when it gets released in final form, but when I used WSL it was better than cygwin etc but still a PITA to deal with. Personally I think L

Personally I think Linux (Fedora or Ubuntu) on Lenovo Thinkpads - esp X1 Carbons is the best option.
