That's not really the point of a CDR, it's saying "if we were to build a 100TeV machine, this is, broadly speaking, how we would do it". Particle physicists may (or may not) determine it worthwhile, that's another question altogether.
- mellosouls 7y agoThank you. That makes sense (and why I asked about the intended audience and purpose of the document); however as they put the blue sky goals in the abstract, I would have expected something more specific as well.
